My Story

Integrative Psychiatric Approach

At Dual Minds Integrative Psychiatry, I provide compassionate, evidence-informed care focused on the unique needs of women. My background in maternal and child health, primary care, and college health helps me understand how physical, emotional, and social factors shape mental well-being. I am especially committed to supporting women through the peripartum and menopausal transitions, offering holistic and personalized care that includes non-pharmacologic options to promote long-term wellness.

Philosophy of Care

I believe healing begins with feeling heard, supported, and involved in your care. As a nurse practitioner and nurse educator, I focus on connection, education, and whole-person wellness. I am passionate about helping women navigate postpartum depression, anxiety, and the emotional changes that accompany menopause.

Education

I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University, specializing in adult and women’s health. I have more than 15 years of experience in nursing education and remain committed to mentoring future nurses.

Professional Experience

I have worked in maternal and child health, primary care, and college health, supporting women through important transitions in their lives. As a board-certified adult and women’s health nurse practitioner in Massachusetts, I bring clinical expertise and a supportive presence to each patient encounter.

Personal Inspiration

My work is inspired by the strength of women and the need for accessible mental health support during reproductive transitions. I value integrative, trauma-informed care and non-pharmacologic approaches that support balance, resilience, and emotional well-being.

Current Practice

At Dual Minds Integrative Psychiatry, I provide personalized care for women experiencing postpartum depression, anxiety, mood changes, and menopausal-related emotional distress. My approach blends clinical expertise, education, and mind-body strategies to help women feel understood, empowered, and supported in their healing.
